We offer numerous dog grooming services and treatments in Glasgow, but we are usually guided by the dog and their owner. The breed of dog and the time since their last groom will dictate the type of treatment that we provide. Our preferred approach is to create a treatment that is customised around your dog's specific needs.
A few of our more popular treatments are shown below:
Full Groom
This is our most popular treatment and includes a full hair clipping to a style of your choice or in line with the standard for their breed. We then carry out a full shampoo using specialist mild dog shampoos. We pay particular attention to sensitive areas such as the ears, pads, feet and groin. We then thoroughly rinse a couple of times and dry with high quality quiet dryers. A final trim and then optional scent can be used if required
Wash and trim
A great value treatment that will leave your dog, clean and healthy. We carry out the same shampooing service as in the Full groom but only trim the hair around sensitive areas such and the feet and face.
Hand-strip Full Groom
Instead of clipping we use a hand stripping technique, which is particular popular for terriers. It takes a little longer but the results are worth it.
Hand Scissored Full Groom
Instead of clipping we use hand scissors. This can provide a more natural look, and is particularly popular for spaniels.
Show Trimming
If you are serious about making your dog look special, or perhaps you plan to 'show' your dog, we offer a special service where we will sculpt your dog around the defined criteria for their breed. This can often take time but produce dramatic results.
De-Shedding
Some breeds have bigger casting problems than others. Regular removal of the dead hair and undercoat can reduced the amount of continual hair loss. We also recommend a full groom to accompany this treatment.
Flea Treatment
If your dog has fleas or ticks, we recommend bathing with professional shampoo we offer this service Regularly cleaning your dogs teeth can improve your dog's health and add years to their life. If this is something you are interested in, contact us and we can advise.
